About Us:
The 5 Shorts Project is dedicated to empowering diverse voices in the film industry by producing impactful short films that address pressing social issues. Our mission is to provide a platform for underrepresented communities and to create content that inspires change and fosters dialogue.
Program Overview:
Our Summer Internship Program is designed to immerse interns in the various aspects of film production, from pre-production to post-production. Interns will work closely with our experienced team on real projects, gaining practical skills and insights into the film industry.
Internship Areas:
- Filmmaking: Assist in all stages of film production, including directing, cinematography, and sound.
- Editing: Learn and apply editing techniques using industry-standard software.
- Screenwriting: Participate in the script development process and contribute to writing compelling stories.
- Producing: Gain experience in project management, budgeting, and coordinating film shoots.
- Marketing/PR: Help develop marketing strategies and manage public relations efforts to promote our films.
- Social Media Management: Create engaging content and manage our social media platforms.
- Event Planning: Assist in organizing events, screenings, and community outreach initiatives.
